Snacking just became a little more guilt free for me!
For a while now i have become more conscious of what my body intakes and what i stuff my face with and how it affects my skin and my weight. I have been more wary of sugar intake and although i still do have the odd munch on chocolate, i have a healthier outlook on my diet as i discussed in my Previous Health Post. Biscuits for instance have now been banned in the house for over 8 months now !!! ( i would often scoff 10+ in one sitting… NO MORE!!)
Healthy, easy and quick snacks( I believe in quick, simple and yummy consumables, plus i have a sweet tooth) is what i have been googling lately. I have decided to use the kitchen more and be a little more domesticated. I came across Averie Cooks. It is a website dedicated to just this. It’s a website full of indulgent and lighter recipes. Ranging from full on prep meals to quick and simple…but all yummy and never boring!

I have an obsession with blueberries at the moment and i came across a skinny Muffin recipe. It was exactly what i needed to stop the mid afternoon cravings and evening munchies and it is guilt free, BONUS!!
I am now on my 3rd batch of muffins!

I wanted to share with you this amazing recipe!!! I don’t even think about the prep involved now, I just do it in 5 minutes.
Here is the Original Full Recipe and below are the tweaks i have made for an even healthier and guilt free snack!! Psst….i recommend purchasing the actual plastic cup measurements
For the flour I used 1 cup WHOLEMEAL and 1/2 cup plain
Use Organic Coconut Oil (in liquid form…as in melted)
Only 1/4 cup sugar……NOT the full 1/2 cup it suggests… it still tastes divine!!
Use plain/natural yogurt…not just Greek Yogurt
This recipe works with raspberries too!!!
Vanilla or no Vanilla…..either is tasty (I forgot to put it in my last batch and it was still edible)
Have seconds or thirds 🙂
