Discovering Myself through Words…Part 2

So the past couple of weeks I have been busy working, reading (currently reading The Secret Life of Bees) pottering about with daily chores, girly shopping for my sisters prom dress, binge watching the second season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (finished in 24hour period) finished The Walking Dead season 5 and also working my way through the Saw boxset. I’ve made one or two more blog posts, I’ve been working mostly but have had some time for other events and general life.  I have also been stressing about silly things in my head and in my particular case OVER THINKING as usual!

I mentioned before that I am slightly in love with Instagram and scrolling through my Facebook and Google+ newsfeed….. Well over the past couple of weeks I have discovered some words and quotes that really resonate with me and give my thoughts some meaning and perspective. I said I would share what I discover. Some have great insight and some are just funny life happenings, some are just to the point! Hopefully you can relate to some too…

“Today you are you, that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you “- Dr. Seuss

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. “- Dr. Seuss

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise. “- Les Miserables

“Coffee, Smile, Laugh, Repeat.” – somewhere on Instagram (I seek more laughter in my life)

“Don’t let people tell you your ideas are stupid. If you’re really passionate about something find a way to build it. ” – Foundr

“OVER THINKING CAN KILL HAPPINESS, LIES CAN KILL TRUST, INSECURITIES CAN KILL SELF ESTEEM.” – Pinoy Rap Radio ( the overthinking and insecurity part completely sums up myself lately)

“Someone else is happy with less than what you have” – GD Quotes ( this resonates with me as I am still learning to appreciate the life and PEOPLE  I have, the THINGS I have and the HOME I HAVE. Some people don’t have any of these things)

“Don’t underestimate me. I know more than I say, think more than I speak and notice more than you realise.”- Heart Centred Rebalancing ( needs no extra commentary)

“You either get Bitter or you get Better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice is yours, it belongs to you.” – Josh Shipp, Heart a entered Rebalanced

All these have had an affect on my mindset lately…. How about you?
